Haven't touched a sketch pad for a while, but over last few days I've enjoyed doodling again. Life is and has been topsy turvy and just been plodding away. Just updating with what I've been doodling. Will have to be photos as don't have a scanner at the moment. Will take a while to get used to and look round the new Deviantart platform. Currently working on some Christmas doodles as will be home doodling my cards for friends and family again this year. Enjoyed my Xmas tree doodle but unsure about the fairy in corner and thinking will scrap that. Enjoying the peace and tranquillity it brings.

Been doing a lot of doodling of recent. I have been letting my mind wonder in a sketch book to help relax. These abstract drawings have just been appearing from doodling shapes. These have been so relaxing to draw and look good with just being outlined in black liner pen.

Birds and Blooms 1st Annual ContestCalling all Members and Affiliate Members
It's time for Birds-And-Blooms first annual contest. The contest is open to all members of the group and all affiliate members of the group.
The theme is Birds AND Blooms. BOTH one or more birds as well as one or more blooms MUST be in a single entry.
Two Entries per person but you may only win once. Both old and new images are allowed!
ANY type of visual art is welcomed-photography-digital-traditional
The contest starts May 14th 2016 and ends June 13th 2016 --12 pm CST (may be extended if deemed necessary by admins)
There will be 3 winners chosen by Sublime-Feline and Eruanna17 and CameronKobe who is not participating in the contest.
Prizes will be divided as follows /// 1st place winner= 300 points/// 2nd place winner =200 points /// 3rd place winner=100
